A job well done

As of yesterday we have finished tidying up our eBay Store, well in advance of the deadline sometime next year. If you look at the store from a smart phone, everything should be clear and easy to see. Now I’m wondering what to do with myself, as the alterations have certainly taken up a lot of our time. Update my blogs perhaps?

More changes

Last October, I wrote about tidying up the announcements in our eBay store. Fortunately we did make a start, because earlier this year eBay asked that we check that everything is compatible for smart phone app users as well as over the internet. I think that you can imagine how busy we’ve been doing that as we have over 7000 postcards online. It is a nuisance, but we do want as many potential customers as possible to be able to see what they are buying without too much trouble.

eBay have provided a website where we can confirm that what we are changing is correct. We’re over half way through and should have it finished well before the deadline. Of course new postcards added to our store conform to the new guidelines.

Ten years on

It’s just over 10 years since I set up this blog. I was more active then, looking for ways to make money online.

Ten years ago I was very interested in different toolbars – I suppose people would use apps these days. I was looking into the Google Page Creator; it doesn’t seem to exist now. The merits (or not) of advertising products you don’t believe in was a subject I wrote about. I had just joined shareasale.com – and I’m still with them!

A year later I set up my own business selling old French postcards on eBay. Time flies!

Special book promotion

The promotions both start on April 12th 2016.

I’m running a special promotions for my book ‘Angie Brynner & Company’ on Amazon Kindle UK and Amazon Kindle US.

The UK promotion starts 12th April at 8 am GMT until 19th April at 12 am GMT ; the price is reduced from £2.37 to 99p.

In the US, the book will be 99 cents from 12th April 8 am PST until 19th April 12 am PST, original price is $2.99.

If you don’t have a Kindle reader, you can download a free app for your smartphone, tablet or computer.  Because Amazon doesn’t seem to cope well with links from country to country .The best way to find my book is to go to Amazon, look under Kindle and look for my name: Angela Knutsen.

It seems to have disappeared.  Does anyone know what's happened?  I surfed on Monday and it was functioning perfectly

... and another

My second book has now been published on Kindle. “The Summer of 1970” is a collection of short stories; some of them have a little twist at the end. If you’d like to read it it’s free from Sunday 17th January until Thursday 21st January .

I’ve now learnt how to make a list of headings that link to parts of a document. It took me a while but I got there in the end.
