As promised (threatened), here is my typical morning
5.00: The alarm goes off, I get up and make a cup of tea and go back to bed again for half an hour.
5.30: Get up and shower
6.00: Wake Olivier, our son and have breakfast, turn on the computer
6.15: Look at stats for yesterday, check affiliate networks to see how much I’ve earned over night. Look at AdWords and tweak where necessary. Check emails. If I have a little time I surf the traffic exchanges for a while and allocate credits for the day. Continue reminding Olivier to get up
6.50: Wake Rob, my husband, and make him sandwiches for his lunch (like the kind wife that I am).
7.15: Olivier leaves, usually in time to catch the bus…
7.30: Rob usually takes over the main computer for a while in case there are papers to print out for ebay. While he does this I tidy around, wash up, fill the washing machine – any house worky stuff. If Olivier has missed the bus I take him to lycĂ©e.
8.30: Rob goes off to work on his bike. I finish tidying up and get ready to walk to the post office
8.50 – 9.20: Walk to the post office and back, post out cards, buy stamps etc.
9.25: MAKE COFFEE!
9.30: I’m usually ready to start work. Check to see if I have any sponsored blog posts to write and deal with important emails. After that I scan and prepare post cards for Ebay and email them to Rob (his laptop computer is across the room), so that he can check them in the evening. We do this because I have a poor level of written French so I sometimes make dreadful mistakes, this can be funny but it is not professional.
11.00: Write sponsored posts if any and then surf traffic exchanges for a while, deal with normal level emails, try to get round to replying to blog comments.
11.30: Stop work and lift weights (only 4 kilos) and do gentle exercises for twenty minutes or so. I feel so much better for this; Olivier has shown me how to lift the weights correctly as it is easy to do more damage than good
11.55: Visit my blog friends and see what’s going on around the world.
12.30 – 1.30: Lunch. I sit down and have a proper pause and do what I want to do.
